MOBILITY

Concerned about the effect of new economic and social challenges and the profound changes that the whole world is experiencing, the UPES, in order to adapt to these new changes, has developed a new strategy based on: “THE INTERNATIONALIZATION of studies and EMPLOYABILITY”.

The development of new courses and specialties as well as the diversification of the diplomas awarded constitute the fundamental instruments for the development of this strategy. This is why UPES has chosen to partner with eminent foreign universities through the signing of memoranda of understanding and cooperation:

1. UPES has signed with the French university MBS_Paris (Médicis Business School_Paris). The objective of this protocol is to strengthen the skills of students and consolidate their CVs in order to facilitate their access to new courses and, of course, give them more chances and new opportunities for employability.

The application of the protocol with the MBS, which university is also in partnership with American, Canadian, Australian, European and Asian universities, has enabled, during this short time, a significant number of students exclusively from UPES to continue their studies in Paris with a view to obtain at the end of the 3rd year a “Bachelor French and at the same time, a Tunisian "license". UPES students were also able to access the mastère "MBA-Strategic Management" professional with MBS and its partners mentioned above. This agreement also gave other UPES students the opportunity, whatever their level of academic studies, to participate in the summer seminars in Paris organized by the university MBSParis.

These participations in international summer seminars called "Summer Session" will allow our students not only to develop a spirit of openness by meeting students from all over the world, but also to offer them a favorable opportunity to enrich their knowledge through the academic themes covered by the seminar.

2. UPES also signed with E Campus Novedrate, Italy, the CEPU EDUCATION GROUP deals with education for all levels: from secondary school to university, from postgraduate masters to specialized vocational training. It has 90 branches in Italy and 12 abroad, in Europe, South America, Asia and Africa. Active for more than 40 years, the Group has already trained more than 2 million students, helping them achieve their education and training goals.

The partnership was for a double degree while staying in Tunisia and adding some modules in the curriculum.

The double degree allows students to be effective in business on a managerial level while having followed a technical specialty, and vice versa. Executives who have obtained this specialization will thus be able to manage a team, and to understand the technical side of the company.

Students who have followed a double degree generally find work more quickly at a more prestigious level.

3. UPES also signed withuniversité Technique Gheorghe Asachi de Lasi, Roumanie, a scientific and cultural university collaboration agreement.

This agreement aims to develop joint study programs, as well as exchanges and cooperation in the fields of education, student training and research.

UPES has established a partnership with the renowned French institution, L'ESC Clermont Business School. The primary aim of this collaboration is to enhance students' skill sets and fortify their resumes, thereby streamlining their path to enrolling in advanced courses. This strategic alliance not only amplifies their prospects but also opens up novel avenues for increased employability, aligning perfectly with the shared vision of both institutions.

L'UPES had the pleasure of welcoming on May 9 Mrs Mary Zhao Deputy Secretary General of Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association and Manager of International Department of Beijing Hongzhou Learning Co., Ltd.

This future collaboration will provide our students with high quality international education opportunities and exchange programs in China.
