UPES students organized a demonstration this Thursday morning with administrative and teaching staff, in solidarity with the Palestinian people to denounce the “massacres committed” in the Gaza Strip. They waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans for the liberation of the people of Palestine. The participants demanded an end to Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, denouncing the massacre at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital which left hundreds of dead and injured on the Palestinian side. The demonstrators also denounced “the barbarity of the Israeli aggression which targets civilians and children, with the aim of exterminating the Palestinian people and forcing them to flee from Palestine”. The students called for the collection of donations in collaboration with the Tunisian Red Crescent.
